In 2022, Hawthorne & Heaney commenced their live embroidery events calendar with an exciting opportunity – monogramming at the much-anticipated Greggs and Primark collaboration launch event. This unique occasion brought together the worlds of retail marketing, retail branding, and retail products, and we were thrilled to be part of it!

Live Monogramming

The event took place at the Dean Street store in the heart of Soho, where the Greggs and Primark teams orchestrated a memorable press launch. Attendees were treated to an array of delightful experiences, including live DJ music, a photobooth for capturing memories, a scrumptious spread of Greggs treats and signature sausage rolls, and, of course, the star of the show – the new clothing collaboration.

Among the standout items in the collection were the sausage roll socks, as well as an assortment of hoodies, jumpers, and tracksuit bottoms. Each of these clothing pieces proudly displayed the Greggs logo and featured playful slogans like “it’s a pastry thing,” along with iconic sausage roll motifs.

At the event our Monogramming station was a hit, customers were given the choice of selecting a Greggs yellow or blue Monogram to add a unique touch to their garments. The hoodies and jumpers in particular proved to be crowd-pleasers, attracting a steady stream of fashion enthusiasts eager to add a personalized touch to their clothing.

The buzz surrounding the event didn’t stop there, several media outlets including the Mirror Online captured the essence of the day, and shared a video of our talented team at work. Some attendees even let their creativity shine by coordinating their initials with the logos featured on the sleeves of their clothing.
